The Ministry of Health of Brunei Darussalam today, reported the 7th case of Influenza A (H1N1) in the country involving a 4-year old girl who went to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with her family on 15 June 2009 and returned to the country on 19 June 2009. The patient started to develop symptoms on 22 June 2009. The Ministry of Health has traced all contacts and they are now being quarantined.

This patient, together with the six initial confirmed cases, are in good condition and still undergoing treatment at the Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah Hospital, Tutong.
