Deputy Minister during a courtesy call to Director of Defence Resource Management Programme. - MINDEF

The deputy minister and his delegation will visit various defence and security establishments in the United States, which will also include courtesy calls on senior defence officials.

The main aims of the visit are to foster closer bilateral relations and explore areas of cooperation between Brunei Darussalam and the United States, particularly in the field of defence.

The visit will also take the deputy minister and his delegation to a number of educational and research establishments in the country with the aim to observe their structure and academic programmes and discuss possibilities of future collaboration. These visits are relevant in the continuous effort to enrich the quality of its personnel as one of the priorities of the Ministry of Defence of Brunei Darussalam.
