Notice on Adjustment of the Serum IgM Antibody Test Institution for China-bound Passengers

In order to further reduce cross-border transmission of Covid-19, starting from 21 February 2021, all China-bound passengers via direct flights, regardless of their nationalities, shall take serum IgM antibody test at JPMC Hospital, while RIPAS Hospital will only provide SARS-Cov-2 RT-PCR Test for passengers.

The specific requirements are as follows:

1.Passengers must take serum IgM anti-body tests from 8:00 am to 12:00 am on Sunday immediately before every direct flight (Tuesday).

2.The sampling will be completed using venous blood.

3. In order to reduce mass gathering, a special session at Phlebotomy Room(the second floor of JPMC) is assigned to China-bound passengers from 10:00 am to 12:00 am. Please contact Mr. Kwa (contact number:00673-8721411) regarding relevant preparations needed for the test.

4.Upon arriving at JPMC, please provide the registration number of JPMC (which needs to be applied beforehand if the passenger doesn’t have, and the fee is B$10 per person), then take the sampling and test after making on-site payment of B$50. Test result will be collected and distributed by Mr. Kwa.

5.When passengers collect Statement of Result for SARS-Cov-2 RT-PCR test and Statement of Result for SARS-Cov-2 IgM Anti-Body test with negative results, please upload pictures of the statements immediately to apply for a green HS code (Chinese nationals) or HDC code (foreign nationals) issued by the Chinese Embassy in Brunei. When uploading the pictures, please double-check name, gender, date of birth, passport number and test results carefully with the required information filled in Epidemic Prevention Health Code International Version Mini Program or via website https://hrhk.cs.mfa.gov.cn/H5/ .Please visit http://bn.china-embassy.org/eng/lsfws/qzsq/t1836363.htm for the specific requirements.

It is an important epidemic prevention measure to apply for the health code or health declaration code before departure,which should be taken seriously. Those who report false information or conceal travel and residence history and health status shall bear relevant legal responsibilities incurred.
