Notice on Details of Pre-departure Tests for China-bound Passengers

In order to further reduce cross-border transmission of Covid-19, starting 6 November 2020, all China-bound passengers, regardless of their nationalities, shall present both Statement of Result for SARS-Cov-2 RT-PCR Test and Statement of Result for SARS-Cov-2 IgM Anti-Body Test with negative results to board the direct flight to China. Please note the following details for taking the above-mentioned tests:

1) Sports Complex of RIPAS Hospital is the sole designated testing institution for both RT-PCR and IgM antibody tests for all China-bound passengers by Ministry of Health of Brunei. A special session on the Sunday immediately before every direct flight (Tuesday) is specially assigned to China-bound passengers.

2) In order to reduce mass gathering, passengers are divided into groups of 20 people for each hour. Please contact Mr. Kwa regarding specific test time (contact number:00673-8721411) and relevant preparations needed for the test.

3) Upon arriving at Sports Complex, please submit Bruhims number, two photocopies of the information page of the passport and flight itinerary. If you don’t have Bruhims number, it is advised to apply beforehand.

4) Fees are B$200 per person for RT-PCR test and B$50 per person for IgM antibody test. On-site payments are required to be made before the tests.

5) Negative results of the tests will be collected and distributed by Mr. Kwa (contact number:00673-8721411).

6) Both Statement of Result for SARS-Cov-2 RT-PCR Test and Statement of Result for IgM Anti-Body Test with negative results issued by RIPAS Sports Complex have to be presented and checked in order to board the direct flight to China. Please submit photocopies of the aforementioned statements to Brunei Royal Airlines. Foreign passengers do not need to apply for a Health Declaration Form from the Embassy.

7) Please stay isolated as much as possible after the tests and take precautionary measures for personal protection to avoid infection.
