2020/09/07

According to the notice issued by the Embassy on August 20, 2020, passengers on direct flights from Brunei to China, Chinese and foreign passengers alike, are requested to board the plane with a negative statement of PCR test result. According to the latest requirements, in order to further strengthen the health and safety of international travel and to reduce the risk of cross-border transmission, starting from September 15th, 2020, the negative statement of PCR test result must be issued 72 hours prior to boarding, instead of 120 hours as previously stated, by testing institutions recognized by the Embassy (http://bn.china-embassy.org/chn/zytz/P020200822501034080404.pdf) in order for all the passengers to board the direct flights to China, regardless of the nationalities. Original statement must be presented for pre-boarding checks, and a photocopy thereof must be submitted to the Royal Brunei Airlines. No green HS code nor Health Declaration Form from the Embassy is needed for boarding China-bound direct flights from Brunei.
